Empowerment of Prajnaparamita and commentary to the self generation practice of Great Mother Prajnaparamita

The 2008 International Kadampa Festival will be held in Paris France October 31 – November 7.

During the Festival, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso will grant the empowerment of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita for the very first time in the West.

Prajnaparamita is the embodiment of the Wisdom Truth Body of all the Buddhas, the Great Wisdom Mother who gives birth to all enlightened beings.

By relying upon her and engaging in her practice, which includes reciting the Heart Sutra, we can develop the inner strength to overcome all outer and inner hindrances to attaining pure happiness, as well as all obstacles that hinder our progress to liberation and enlightenment.

Fall Festival 2009 ~ November 1 – 8

At the Fall Festival 2009, Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab will grant the blessing empowerments of Je Tsongkhapa and Dorje Shugden and give teachings on the Stages of the Path and Mahamudra Tantra from the Ganden Oral lineage.

The Festival will be held at, Montecatini Congressi, in the Tuscan town of Montecatini Terme, right next to Kadampa Meditation Centre Italy It is a perfect setting in parkland right at the heart of this enchanting Italian Spa.
