The Courses You Will Attend: (Summer only)
The retreat in Part 1 will end at 21:30 on Friday 1 August. If you are not staying for Part 2, you are asked to vacate your accommodation after breakfast on Saturday 2 August. Registration for those arriving for Part 2, will be 14:00 – 19:30 on Saturday 2 August. Payment for the Festivals does not include accommodation for the night of the final day, 9 August.
Meals: Both Festivals will begin with supper at 17:30 on the first day, and end with lunch on the last day.
Single, Double and Twin Rooms: are very limited and priority will be given to those who book for the whole of the Spring Festival, or for the whole of Part 1 and/or Part 2 of the Summer Festival. They are not available before Friday 23 May (Spring) or 25 July (Summer) or after the morning of Monday 26 May (Spring) or Saturday 9 August (Summer). Please specify who you will be sharing a room with.
Early Arrivals and Late Stays: If you need to stay before or after the Festival, only camping and marquee dorm accommodation are available. This is from 20 May for Spring and 21 July for Summer. It is charged at the relevant daily festival rate.
Translation Facilities: All sessions in the Temple will be conducted in English. We can provide simultaneous translation into Mandarin, Cantonese, Dutch, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, if booked at least 14 days in advance. Other languages may be provided subject to demand and availability of a translator. Please do not book for a translation place if you do not require this facility.
Parking Vouchers: To cover the field rental for extra parking space, there is a charge of £1.50 per car per day. If you are disabled and need parking space a little nearer the building please tick the box. There is no charge for disabled parking.
Special Needs: There are toilet and shower facilities available for disabled people. Access to the Temple and main building is ramped but we regret some areas of the Priory are inaccessible to wheelchair users.
