Inspired by the renowned Buddhist master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, this annual Dharma Celebration is a special opportunity to enjoy spiritual teachings, guided meditations and relax in a peaceful location in the Copenhagen.
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is a fully accomplished meditation master and scholar, and is the Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. He has established over 1200 centres and branches in 40 countries around the world and written 20 highly acclaimed books on Buddhism. Renowned for their clarity and practicality, his teachings perfectly bridge modern life and the ancient wisdom of Buddhism derived from the Buddhist meditators and scholars Atisha and Je Tsongkhapa.
This Dharma Celebration is organised by the Nordic Kadampa Buddhist Centres in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Oslo. In all of these cities regular meditation courses, retreats and other activities are offered weekly. Please follow the links below if you would like more information.
