Summer Festival
The Festival Play
The Life Story of Buddha Shakyamuni
Saturday August 7
We celebrate the end of the Festival with a play based on the life of Buddha Shakyamuni. All are welcome to join the cast or to participate with production. Come and enjoy the inspiration!
'This play shows the nature of samsara, and how, when
Buddha was with ordinary beings, he helped them with
loving-kindness and compassion by leading them to the
liberating path. By following his example as shown in
this play we too can attain a happy and meaningful life...
For me it has such great meaning.'
