The nearest airport is Manchester International (MAN) approximately 2 hours by road or rail. Manchester Airport is one of the busiest airports in the UK outside of London with direct flights from many destinations worldwide. The railway and bus station within Manchester Airport offers accessible transport links throughout the UK.
London airports are also easily accessible (London is approximately 3 hours by train).

The nearest railway station is located in Ulverston and is 2 miles from Manjushri KMC. There are many direct trains to and from Manchester Airport, as well as regular trains to Lancaster for rail connections to the rest of the UK. Taxis
During Festivas, taxis regularly serve the route between Ulverston train station and Manjushri KMC. If arriving for the Festival, it is possible that you will also be able to share a taxi with fellow Festival participants.

By road
Manjushri KMC is only 30 minutes from the M6 (Jct 36). Follow signs for A590 Barrow-in-Furness.
In Ulverston go straight on at first roundabout, take second left onto A5087, signed Bardsea, ‘Coastal route to Barrow’. Manjushri KMC is two miles on the left.
