The airport is well connected by inexpensive public transport to both the city and the coast eg. M\u00e1laga city and Torremolinos are only 10-12 minutes by train from the airport, and M\u00e1laga city is a 15 minute bus ride &#8211; visit the Travel Info page for more details.<\/p>\n<p><b>Currency<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The currency in Spain is the Euro \u20ac<\/p>\n<p><b>Weather<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Typical daytime highs: about <b>22-26\u00b0C (72-79\u00b0F)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Typical night\/morning lows: about <b>13-18\u00b0C (55-64\u00b0F<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>What can I see and do in the local area?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>For info on what to see and do in M\u00e1laga city and the nearby beaches check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitcostadelsol.com\/malaga-costa-del-sol\">visitcostadelsol.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Can I book accommodation through the Festival?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Accommodation available to book through your Festival booking will be limited to onsite accommodation at KMC Spain. For those unable to stay at the KMC, shuttles will be organised from M\u00e1laga city, Torremolinos, Alhaur\u00edn el Grande and Alhaur\u00edn de la Torre. If you are planning to bring a car, note that all standard parking is on land adjacent to the main Festival site (except registered disabled). See Parking for details.<\/p>\n<p><b>Arrival &amp; Registration<\/b><\/p>\n<p>You are required to show your booking confirmation letter (either digital or printed) to gain access to the Festival site. If you are unable to show this, you will be required to show either your passport or National ID card.<\/p>\n<p>Campers must register before pitching your tent and only camp in designated areas.<\/p>\n<p>Strictly no naked flames of any kind (e.g. candles, gas cookers or gas lighting) are permitted anywhere on the campsite.<b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>General Guidelines<\/b><\/p>\n<p>During your visit to KMC Spain you are requested to please refrain from smoking (incl. electronic cigarettes), taking intoxicants and drinking alcohol in the building and in the grounds.<\/p>\n<p><b>Pets<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Please note that it is not possible to bring pets to the Festival.<\/p>\n<p><b>Security<\/b><\/p>\n<p>You will be required to wear a Festival Pass at all times. Please co-operate fully with this requirement for the sake of the safety and smooth running of the Festival. Please note that the Festival Management cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items or cars parked either on or off the Festival site. Please bring essential items only and carry valuables with you.<\/p>\n<p><b>Volunteering<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The entire Festival is organised and run by volunteers. There are many opportunities and ways in which you can help, such as preparing food, serving, clearing, dish-washing, cleaning, setting up, cafes etc. It is a wonderful way to meet with other Kadampas from around the world &#8211; your contribution of time and energy is an important part of making the whole thing happen.<\/p>\n<p>To find out how you can get involved, please see the volunteering page.<\/p>\n<p><b>Photography<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Flash photography, video or audio recording are not permitted in the Temple during sessions.<\/p>\n<p><b>Music &amp; Musical Instruments<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Festivals are a time of peace, quiet and reflection. It is for this reason that we ask you not to bring musical instruments of any kind to the Festival, and to use headphones when listening to music.<\/p>\n<p><b>Catering<\/b><\/p>\n<p>If you have booked onsite festival accommodation, breakfast is included. There are a number of meal options available, including both pre-booked and pay-as-you-go.
