The area is abundant in sightseeing, hikes, historic landmarks, and national parks &#8211; only an hour&#8217;s drive to the Grand Canyon, 45 minutes to Sedona, and 40 minutes to Mount Humphreys, the tallest point in the state at 12,633 feet.<\/p>\n<p>This blessed space houses the fifth Kadampa Temple dedicated to World Peace and serves as North America&#8217;s official international retreat center. Since its opening by Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong in fall 2019, the Temple has hosted countless retreats, courses, and Festivals, giving the are a special tranquil energy.
