This year’s Summer Festival is taught by Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong the General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and Gen-la Kelsang Jampa, Deputy Spiritual Director.<\/p>\n\tGen-la Kelsang Dekyong
\n<\/strong>The Teacher for week 2 of the 2025 Summer Festival will be Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong. Gen-la Dekyong is the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union. She is the Resident Teacher at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Center, the mother center of our tradition, and teaches extensively internationally. Gen-la studied and practiced for many years with her Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and is his close disciple. \nThe Teacher for week 1 of the 2025 Summer Festival will be Gen-la Kelsang Jampa who is the Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, the Resident Teacher at KMC Los Angeles and one of the most senior NKT teachers. Gen-la has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years, and under Geshe-la’s guidance has taught at many centers and events around the world.\nGen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.<\/p>\n
