They give us an opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and to make time for our inner spiritual development for a concentrated period of time. In this way we accelerate our meditation practice, deepening our understanding and experience in a relatively short period of time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fall Festival 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just 25 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the Costa Del Sol and located at the foot of the Sierra de las Nieves mountain range, Kadampa Meditation Center Spain offers an extraordinary setting for this year&rsquo;s Fall Festival. The center is home to the Sixth Kadampa Temple for World Peace and serves as the NKT National Center for Spain.<\/p>\n<p>The Temple was opened by Gen-la Dekyong in June 2022. Since then there have been many retreats, courses and Festivals held here making it a very blessed place. KMC Spain is set in it&rsquo;s own olive and citrus fruit plantation and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Everyone is welcome<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We also have the opportunity to meet and be part of a diverse and international community from all walks of life. People of every age and background are welcome to attend the Festivals and no prior experience is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The Festivals are very friendly occasions; it is easy to meet new people through volunteering and at mealtimes. As everyone is trying to put the teachings into practice, there is an openness and acceptance that makes being at the Festival a very safe and inclusive experience.<\/p>\n\t<p><strong>A vision of a better world<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Kadampa Festivals everyone is trying to improve their state of mind through the teachings and guided meditations. An immediate effect of this is that at Festivals we begin to see what a world would be like if everyone helped each other without delusion or negativity. This vision is both inspiring and empowering.
