Gen-la has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years, and under Geshe-la&#8217;s guidance has taught at many centers and events around the world.\n<p>Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people&#8217;s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.<\/p>\n<p>Gen-la Jampa will be assisted by senior NKT Teachers who will lead the meditations and retreat during week 2.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/kadampafestivals.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Gen-la-Jampa-IKRC.jpg\" alt=\"Gen-la Jampa-IKRC\" title=\"Gen-la Jampa-IKRC\" \/>\n\t<strong>Gen-la Kelsang Sangden<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Teacher for week 1 of the 2026 Summer Festival will be Gen-la Kelsang Sangden who will be the Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, and is the National Spiritual Director of Kadampa Buddhism in Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua and Peru, and the Resident Teacher at KMC Mexico.\n<p>She is admired by many for her good example and her loving and clear advice.
