Revealing the Union of Sutra and Tantra

Buddha Shakyamuni Empowerment and teachings on the Union of Sutra and Tantra, based on Modern Buddhism.

• Week 1 Teachings on Sutra with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong
• Week 2 Teachings on Tantra with Gen-la Kelsang Jampa

The teachings during Week 1, based on Part 1 of Modern Buddhism – Venerable Geshe Kelsang’s special presentation of Buddha’s teachings on compassion and wisdom – will emphasize the Sutra teachings that focus in particular on finding deeper meaning in our lives and improving our relationships with others.

The teachings during Week 2, based on Part 2 of Modern Buddhism, will emphasize the generation stage and completion stage practices of Highest Yoga Tantra, and show how we can apply these profound Tantric teachings of Buddha to transform every moment of our lives into powerful methods for attaining lasting peace and happiness.
