On the first day of the NKT Spring Festival smiles and laughter pervade the beautiful setting of Manjushri KMC, the spiritual home of Kadampa Buddhism. Today is special. Like the first day of any of the three annual NKT Festivals, people from all over the globe enjoy the opportunity to come together once again to receive precious teachings and enjoy the company of the international Kadampa family.

Whenever I associate with others,
may I view myself as the lowest of all;
and with a perfect intention,
may I cherish others as supreme.
