Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is a fully accomplished and internationally renowned Buddhist Teacher and meditation master, and the Founder and Spiritual Guide of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union. He is the author of 21 highly acclaimed books that reveal the complete path to enlightenment, and has established over 1,100 Buddhist centres around the world. Venerable Geshe-la embodies the peace and joy that comes from practising the Buddhist path, and his teachings and writings convey the profound wisdom of Buddha in a clear and simple way, helping people to integrate it into their busy, modern lives. This Festival is a wonderful opportunity to meet and receive teachings directly from this inspiring Teacher, who reveals the spiritual path from his own experience.

Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong is the elected General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union. She has studied, practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years, and provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Kadampa practitioner for us to follow. She will lead the meditations during the two-day retreat.
Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang is the elected Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union, as well as the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director for Mexico and Resident Teacher of KMC Mexico. She will lead the reviews of Venerable Geshe-la’s teachings.

Kelsang Odro is the Resident Teacher of KMC Brazil and the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director for Brazil. He will lead the meditations based on Venerable Geshe-la's teachings.
