Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso granted the empowerment of Vajrayogini in a beautiful ceremony involving a sequence of guided meditations and ancient rituals.
Geshe-la explained that Vajrayogini is an enlightened female deity of Highest Yoga Tantra and is the manifestation of all Buddha’s wisdom.
There were two parts to the empowerment; entering the mandala and receiving the empowerment.
Geshe-la led us into the mandala of Vajrayogini by describing her pure world so that we could imagine that beauty within our own mind.
