The Fall Festival 2019 will be held at the International Kadampa Retreat Center (IKRC) Grand Canyon, which was established in 2017 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for local, national and international benefit.
Previously a 70-room hotel, it is located in the beautiful mountainous region of Northern Arizona, and is less than an hour from the Grand Canyon.
Very accessible and standing in almost 40 acres of rural land, IKRC Grand Canyon borders the Kaibab National Forest, which abounds with fragrant ponderosa pine trees and a wide variety of wildlife. It is surrounded by the largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest in the world.
From the center's cafe there is a direct view of Humphrey’s Peak, the highest mountain in Arizona.
