Accommodation

A number of hotels, apartments and aparthotels have been reserved in the Cascais/Estoril area. The farthest is approximately 3km from the Festival site. A waterfront boardwalk connects Cascais and Estoril, and runs parallel to Avenida Marginal; the coastal road (N6) which connects Lisbon with Estoril and Cascais. This beautiful walk takes 30-40 minutes from the farthest point in Estoril to the Festival site.

The area is also well served by regular public transport. The Lisbon–Cascais rail line passes through Estoril, Estoril Monte and Cascais stations, with a journey time of only 5 minutes between Estoril and Cascais. Regular buses also serve the route along Avenida Marginal.

To the west of Cascais lie the beaches and sand dunes of Guincho and Quinta da Marinha. In this area we have reserved self-catering apartments and camping accommodation, including caravans and chalets. Regular bus services link these areas to Cascais.

To the east of Cascais is Carcavelos, which is located on the main Lisbon-Cascais trainline. Famous for its surfing beach, Carcavelos is only 15 minutes by train from Cascais.

Bookings for Festival accommodation (except for camping-please see relevant section for details) are PER ROOM and not PER PERSON (your are responsible for finding your own room mates). CASCAIS

Pestana Cascais (4 star)	An easy 15-20 minute walk along Avenida República from the Festival venue. Pestana Cascais is a 4-star hotel with stunning ocean views and extensive gardens. ESTORIL

Hotel Estoril Eden (4 star)	Hotel Estoril Eden is an apartment hotel located in Estoril Monte (between Cascais and Estoril). A 30 minute walk from the Festival venue along the coastal road Avenida Marginal, it is also well served by public transport. Estoril Monte train station is a 5 minute walk away, and regular buses travel to Cascais along Avenida Marginal.	+ Info
Clube do Lago (4 star)	Clube do Lago is an apartment hotel approximately 40 minutes walk from the Festival venue, and 10 minute walk from Estoril Monte train station and the main bus routes on Avenida Marginal. Vila Galé Estoril (4 star)	Approximately 40 minute walk from the Festival venue along the stunning Estoril coastline, Vila Galé Estoril is also only 200m from Tamariz Beach, Estoril train station and local buses which run regularly between Estoril and Cascais.	+ Info

Hotel Lido (3 star)	Hotel Lido is a bright modern hotel approximately 40 minute walk from the Festival site. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from Estoril Train Station and Avenida Marginal (for regular buses between Estoril and Cascais).	+ Info
Hotel Saboia (3 star)	A 30 minute walk from the Festival venue, Hotel Saboia is 200m from Estoril Monte train station and Avenida Marginal (for buses to Cascais). Recently refurbished, all rooms are light and colourful. Hotel Saboia also has its own unique on-site (and delicious) bakery/coffee shop.	+ Info
Hotel São Mamede (2 star)	A 40 minute walk from the Festival site, Hotel São Mamede is located on Avenida Marginal close to Tamariz Beach, local bus routes, and is only 2 minute walk from Estoril Train Station.	+ Info

GUINCHO/QUINTA DA MARINHA

	Vila Bicuda (4 star)	Vila Bicuda is an apartment resort situated in the Quinta da Marinha area to the west of Cascais. It is 3.5km from the Festival Site and estimated walking time is 45 minutes. It is also a 10 – 15 minute walk to Avenida Marginal where there is a regular bus service to Cascais.	+ Info
	Guincho Camping	Set amongst pine trees, and behind the sand dunes, Guincho Camping is 5.7km from the Festival Site. It is also a short walk from the stunning Guincho beach. A regular bus service travels between the campsite and Cascais. Accommodation has been reserved in mobile homes and caravans, as well as camping (with your own tent).	+ Info

	Hotel Riviera (4 star)	Hotel Riviera is a large, modern hotel which is only a 5 minute walk from Carcavelos beach and a 15 minute walk from the train station. Carcavelos station is on the main Lisbon-Cascais line, and a 15 minute journey from Cascais. Numerous cafes and restaurants are within a 5 minute walk.	+ Info

Pestana Sintra Golf (4 star)

Located on the Quinta de Beloura Estate, Pestana Sintra Golf is a resort hotel approximately 5km from Sintra and 10km from the Festival Venue. Shuttle buses will transport guests in the morning and evening between the hotel and the Festival site. Guests will have the use of outdoor and indoor swimming pools including jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, and gym. Also free internet access (wired).

An easy 15-20 minute walk from the Festival venue, guests at Pestana Cascais will have the use of outdoor and indoor swimming pools including jacuzzi, fitness room and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. For those wishing to self-cater, there is a small supermarket opposite the hotel on Praceta Guia, also a bakery serving fresh bread, pastries and coffee.

GUINCHO CAMPING

Guincho Camping is 5.7km from the Festival Site. It is also a short walk from the stunning Guincho beach. A regular bus service travels between the campsite and Cascais. Accommodation has been reserved in mobile homes (some with kitchenette and bathroom), as well as camping (with your own tent). There is a small supermarket onsite. Breakfast can be booked only by those who do not have access to their own kitchen facilities as unfortunately the site does not have the capacity to provide breakfast for a very large group in a short space of time. For each accommodation (except camping with own tent), a €100 deposit is required upon check-in. This should be paid directly at check-in, and will be refunded when leaving subject to no damage to the accommodation.

Approximately 40 minute walk from the Festival venue along the stunning Estoril coastline, Hotel Inglaterra is also only 200m from Tamariz Beach, Estoril train station and local buses which run regularly between Estoril and Cascais.

Hotel Riviera is a large, modern hotel which is only a 5 minute walk from Carcavelos beach and a 15 minute walk from the train station. Carcavelos station is on the main Lisbon-Cascais line, and the journey time to Cascais is 15 minutes. There are numerous cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk, and there is a large supermarket next door.
