The way to attain enlightenment, therefore, is to cultivate our present mind of compassion and develop it to the full.
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Universal Compassion
What do we want from a holiday - to come back stressed, broke and no more able to deal with daily problems than when we left, or to return refreshed, empowered, and equipped with the tools to solve our daily problems and begin to move our life in a positive direction?
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso has described the International Kadampa Festivals as ‘a wonderful spiritual holiday.’ They are holidays with a difference, from which we take home more than we came with.
And the 2013 Spring Festival is no exception. Everyone who attended has enriched their lives through this experience.
Thank you to Gen-la Kunsang and all the other Teachers and to everyone who worked so hard to make this Festival an unforgettable and meaningful holiday.
But most of all, thank you to Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for founding the International Kadampa Festivals and providing constant blessings and inspiration for their success.
Looking forward to the next Festival, Summer 2013! - Book now.
