Post Summer Festival retreats
The three International Festivals are precious opportunities to receive teachings and empowerments from the Gen-las, and this experience is greatly enhanced if we can spend some time after the Festival in retreat improving our understanding of the teachings and taking their meaning to heart.
Post-festival retreats are organised by Kadampa centers around the world after each of the three International Festivals. See below for details of retreats following the Summer Festival.

Tara, the Liberator
with Gen Kelsang Sangden, National Spiritual Director of Mexico and resident teacher in Mexico City.
Based on teachings from the Summer Festival at Manjushri KMC, Gen Sangden will guide a week retreat, helping us to cultivate a peaceful mind and strengthen our good qualities by following the wisdom of Master Atisha. This will transform our lives and inspire others while deepening our connection with Buddha Tara.

with Kadam Morten, Eastern US National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition and Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center New York City.
In this retreat we will be able to practice the teachings that Genla Dekyong and Genla Jampa will share at the International Summer Festival about the perfection of wisdom and the heartfelt advice of Atisha.
