Special Visit to Granada

As many of you know, Granada was Venerable Geshe-la’s home for many years. In accordance with his wish to repay the kindness of the people of Granada, a beautiful 15th-century convent was purchased in the heart of the city.

On Friday 16 October, there will be a special opportunity to visit both the convent and Granada itself. The day will include a guided tour of the current building project, together with a tour of some of the city's most important historical and cultural sites.

Buses will depart from KMC Spain and Malaga city at 8am on Friday morning arriving in Granada at around 12 noon.  They will depart from Granada at 3pm for the return journey to  Malaga Airport, and at 6pm returning to Malaga city and KMC Spain.   Those who prefer to travel independently will also be able to book a place on the tours - more information to be provided at a later .

To make this opportunity available to as many people as possible, considerable help will be needed with Festival take-down. Volunteers will be offered free accommodation at KMC Spain on Thursday 15 October. In addition, those who stay to volunteer for a few days after the Festival will also have the opportunity to visit Granada.
