TRANSLATION

All sessions in the Temple are in English.

We can provide simultaneous translation into Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Mandarin. Please book in advance as space is limited.

Other languages may be provided subject to demand and availability of a translator. Whilst we cannot guarantee, we will try our best to facilitate other languages.

Please do not book for a translation place if you do not require this facility.

ACCESSIBLE NEEDS

Site Accessibility: The Temple, festival cafes, shops, and food court are all accessible to wheelchairs however, due to the natural terrain in some areas, assistance may be required.

Accommodation: Information about accessible accommodation, both at the IKRC and offsite Festival hotels, can be found on the relevant accommodation pages.

Altitude: IKRC Grand Canyon is at an elevation of around 7000 ft (approx. 2100m), if you have any concerns about this, you should seek advice from your own medical practitioner.

Parking: There are limited onsite parking spaces for those who are registered disabled which will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve, basis. If you are not registered disabled but wish to be considered for a reserved parking space please put a note on your booking in the special needs section and contact the Festival welfare team (email address below). Priority is given to those with a registered disabled parking permit.

Shuttles: If you have reduced/restricted mobility and are planning to take the daily shuttles please let us know.

General: Please notify us in advance by e-mail or letter if you have special needs or if you have any questions about the site's accessibility. In particular, if you are a wheelchair user, or require additional seating space in the Temple, please indicate this on your booking form in the special requests section as this will help us to allocate the correct space in the Temple.

If you require more information about access or other facilities please email the welfare team who will try to assist you welfare@kadampafestivals.org
