Málaga's Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is well served by regular direct flights from around Europe, and is connected worldwide through most major airlines and their partners. The airport is well connected by inexpensive public transport to both the city and the coast eg. Málaga city and Torremolinos are only 10-12 minutes by train from the airport, and Málaga city is a 15 minute bus ride.
Festival Airport Shuttles
The Festival will organise transfers from Málaga Airport to KMC Spain on Friday 9 October, and return shuttles on Thursday 15 October. These may be added to your Festival booking either when making the initial booking, or added later via your booking cart.
Friday 9 October: 11am, 1pm, 3pm
Thursday 15 October: 3pm
All airport transfers are offered subject to demand. Please book early so we can reserve the necessary coaches. Should it be necessary to cancel a specific coach due to lack of demand, we will do so with enough notice for you to make alternative arrangements, and will refund any money paid for the cancelled shuttle in full.
Public Transport from Málaga Airport

There are no direct trains or buses to KMC Spain from Málaga Airport. From the airport take a bus or train to Málaga City, from there take either bus line M-132 or M-230 to the stop Fuente Del Perro, Alhaurín el Grande. The bus stops at the top of Camino Fuente del Perro - walk down this road about 5 minutes to KMC Spain. Information on buses and trains from the airport can be found on the airport's website. Information on local buses, including route calculations, can be found on this website. You can pay for buses using a contactless bank card.
KMC Spain’s address is Camino Fuente del Perro, 50 Alhaurín el Grande. It is located midway between the villages of Alhaurín de la Torre and Alhaurín el Grande.
FESTIVAL DAILY SHUTTLES TO/FROM KMC SPAIN
The shuttle drop off/pick up point at KMC Spain is 500m from the entrance to the Festival site on the corner of Camino Fuente del Perro and Carretera de Coín. If you would have difficulty walking this distance, please make a note in the special needs box of the booking form.
To ensure you are able to arrive at the Festival site in time for the sessions, we request you not to arrive last minute at the off-site shuttle pick-up points. Shuttle times will be provided closer to the Festival.
MÁLAGA CITY & TORREMOLINOS/BENALMÁDENA
The Festival will organise morning and evening shuttles between Málaga City and Torremolinos and KMC Spain (both approx. 30 mins). See Fees page for shuttle costs

ALHAURÍN EL GRANDE & ALHAURÍN DE LA TORRE
Morning and evening shuttles will also run from the nearby towns of Alhaurín el Grande and Alhaurín de la Torre. See Fees page for shuttle costs.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO/FROM KMC SPAIN
KMC Spain’s address is Camino Fuente del Perro, 50 Alhaurín el Grande. There is a public bus stop at the top of Camino Fuente del Perro. From there it is about a 5 minute walk to KMC Spain. You can pay for public transport in Malaga using a contactless bank card.
From Málaga City:
- Trains: There are no trains from Málaga City to KMC Spain, Alhaurín de la Torre or Alhaurín el Grande.
- Buses: Bus lines M-132 and M-230 run from Málaga City to KMC Spain, Alhaurín de la Torre and Alhaurín el Grande.
From Benalmádena/Torremolinos:
- Trains: There are no trains from Benalmádena/Torremolinos to KMC Spain, Alhaurín de la Torre or Alhaurín el Grande.
- Buses: There are no direct buses from Benalmádena/Torremolinos to KMC Spain, Alhaurín de la Torre or Alhaurín el Grande. Take bus line M-123 from Benalmádena/Torremolinos to the stop Los Nogales and from there take bus lines M-132 to KMC Spain, Alhaurín de la Torre and Alhaurín el Grande.

The area is semi-rural, so taxis are often more reliable than waiting for an on-demand ride-share service.

Ride shares in the local area
- Uber works, but availability can be patchy because it’s a smaller inland town.

Practical advice for international visitors
